Classes I-V (Paper I) 2014:
Candidates should have passed in Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45 percent marks. Those appearing in final 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education / 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) / 2 – year Diploma in Education in Special Education are also eligible. OR Candidates with BA / B.Sc. with at least 50 percent marks and B.Ed qualification can also apply.

OBC- 350 for oe paper and 450 for both

The posts are available only in remote areas of the 6 (six) districts of Assam mentioned
below and the interested candidates must be physically and mentally ready to serve in these remote/rural areas. The interested candidates must note that the posts are non-transferable. Those candidates who were recently engaged in the medium specific schools vide no. SSA/Esstt/Rectt/Medium/107/2014/10173 dated. 19/06/2014 and No.SSA/Esstt/(TT)/Rectt/Medium/107/2014/10548 dated. 11.07.2014 need not apply.
1. An applicant must be an Indian Citizen and permanent resident of Assam. He/ She must be below 38 years of age
as on 1st January, 2014 (relaxation of age will be applicable for SC/ST candidates upto 5 years as per norms) and minimum of 18 years. Candidates upto to the age of 45 years can apply for the posts provided that their overage is condoned by the Director, Elementary Education in terms of the provision of Departmental O.M. No.ABP.513/79/9-A Dated 27th March, 1980 and O.M. No.ABP-73/89/17 Dated 4th January, 1992 and obtains Age Condonation Certificate thereof. One applicant can apply for the post in only 1 (one) district.

Eligibility Criteria:

1) For Graduate teacher: BA/B.Sc/ B.Com with 50% marks with B.T./ B.Ed. degree from any recognized university.

2) For Hindi Teacher: Pravin/ Ratna in Hindi with 50% marks or B.A with Hindi as one of the subject with 50% marks and B.T / B. Ed. degree from any recognized University.

3) For Classical Teacher (Sanskrit):- Shastri with 50% marks or B.A with Sanskrit as one of the subjects with 50% marks and B.T/ B.Ed degree.

4) For Classical Teacher (Arabic, Urdu etc.)- MM with 50% marks or B.A with Arabic as one of the subjects with 50% marks and B.T./B.Ed. from any recognized University.

5) For Classical Teacher (Assamese Language, Manipuri Language):- B.A with Honours/ Major in concerned subject with 50% marks and B.T. /B.Ed. degree from any recognized University. –

• Before submission, the system will ask, whether the submitted information is correct or not. A confirmation question will appear before
final submission which should be confirmed to submit the on-line application. Without confirmation, the application will not be accepted
by the system and as a result the application will not be considered as a valid one. Candidates can also modify the entered data before
final confirmation and submission. The candidate can take a print out copy of his/her submitted document only after submitting the information to
the on-line system.
• After submitting the information in the on-line form, the candidate must get the print out of the application form on A4 size paper. In the print-out,
candidate will get space for signature. The printed signed application should be submitted along with attested copies of mark sheet and certificate in
support of educational qualification, age, medium, caste, physically handicapped for further authentication of his/her candidature at the time of
screening and verification of original documents.

following original certificates and documents have to be produced and attested copies of the same to be submitted before the District
Level Screening cum Verification Committee on the specified date (w.e.f 5th August to 11th August’ 2014).

a) Mark sheet of H.S. (Sr. Secondary)/ Graduation Examination.
b) Marksheet & Admit Card of HSLC showing M.I.L at HSLC level in the support of Medium of instruction applied for in this recruitment.
c) Pass certificate of Higher Secondary / Graduation Examination.
d) Pass certificate of HSLC or HSLC Admit card in support of age.
e) Certificate and Mark sheet of professional Qualification like D. El Ed, Special D.Ed. etc.
f) Mark Sheet cum certificate of TET (Elementary).
g) Certificates in support of Schedule Caste/ Schedule Tribe (Plains or Hills)/ OBC/ MOBC.
h) Candidates with disabilities (PH) will have to enclose certificates of disabilities invariably, indicating the degree of disability.
i) Certificate of excellence in NCC (B/C certificate), excellence at State Level in Co-curricular activities, Sports, etc, if any.
j) Age Condonation Certificate, if over aged.
k) Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) from appropriate authority.
